President Professor Simon S. M. Ho, Prof Wai Sum Chan, Dean of School of Decision Sciences and academic staff members from Departments of Computing; Mathematics, Statistics and Insurance; and Supply Chain and Information Management took a company visit to SmartMore Corporation Limited at the Science Park on 12 January 2023.

SmartMore is an innovation and technology company, focusing on smart manufacturing and digital experience industries. It aims to bring customers a new era of smart economics through digitalization and digital transformation. SmartMore has set up R&D and business centers in Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Shanghai, Beijing, Suzhou, Hangzhou, Chongqing, Singapore and Tokyo, Japan.

During the visit, SmartMore team which included their General Manager and R&D Director introduced their company background and achievements in smart manufacturing and digital innovation. They also shared and exchanged ideas with HSUHK colleagues on Big Data, IoT, AI, supply chain solutions, etc.. Besides, demonstrations on machines were performed at the SmartMore Showroom.
